75 percent of Napa residents drive to work alone and carpool at about the same rate as the rest of the Bay Area but very few use transit, despite the fact that 70 percent of Napa’s residents live within one-third of a mile of a bus stop.

will be approximately 94,000 jobs and 80,000 wage earners in Napa County.
In 2005 the median house price in Napa County was $684,395. The 2005 median house price in Solano County was $450,000. This was a significant increase in difference since 2000.
