AMERICAN CANYON TRANSIT aka “THE DUCK”The American Canyon Transit (ACT) service operates on a fixed route but will deviate off route, upon request, for door-to-door service for seniors and disabled individuals. The Duck serves major shopping and community locations in American Canyon, as well as, Sutter Solano Hospital, Kaiser Hospital and the Sereno Transfer Center in Vallejo. The service operates on a 90-minute frequency Monday to Friday with no weekend service.
DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE
ACT makes every effort to accommodate those with special needs. Seniors and disabled individuals can arrange for a deviated pickup by calling (707) 557-7557. Passengers with time sensitive appointments are encouraged to make arrangements ahead of time. Because of the popularity of the service, a maximum of four requests are filled per hour. Passengers that utilize wheelchairs are asked to provide that information when requesting a deviated pickup so sufficient time can be scheduled for the pickup.
