How do I ride?
To ride, simply show up at the designated stop and board the VINE 29 Commuter Express bus. Pay your cash fare to the driver upon boarding. And yes, bring your coffee, a snack, your favorite book, pillow or iPod and leave the driving to us!
Route Information:
The VINE 29 Commuter Express runs between Calistoga and the El Cerrito BART station with stops in St. Helena, Yountville, Napa, American Canyon, and the Vallejo Ferry terminal. Select the "Route 29 Express Schedule" link above for specific times.
When:
The VINE 29 Commuter Express runs Monday through Friday in the mornings and evenings. Select the "Route 29 Express Schedule" link above for specific times.
Fares:
The fare between locations in Napa County and the El Cerrito BART station is $5 each way. For riders between Napa County and the Vallejo Ferry terminal, the fare is only $2 each way. Exact change is required.
Pick up/drop off locations:
Calistoga: on Lincoln Bridge at existing VINE bus stop on west side of the bridge. All day free parking is available on Cedar Street.
St. Helena: for southbound travel on Main St (Hwy 29) in front of the Post Office, and for northbound travel on Main St in front of City Hall. Both are existing VINE bus stops. All day free parking is available at a public parking lot at the corner of Pine St and Oak Ave.
Yountville: at the existing VINE bus stop on California St next to the Veterans Home Guard Building. All day free parking is available directly across from the bus stop in the circular parking area.
Napa: (1) Temporary for southbound travel on Solano Ave (west side) opposite the Amadeus Spa at the Marriott Hotel. This stop is designated "Route 29" bus stop only. In the northbound direction (east side of street) the bus stop is located at the existing VINE bus stop. (2) For southbound travel bus stop is located on Imola Ave (south side) mid-block adjacent to Park & Ride Lot on Golden Gate Dr. For northbound travel on Imola Ave on north side of street, across from southbound stop. All day, free parking is available in the Park & Ride Lot.
American Canyon: for southbound travel on Crawford Way next to Post Office, for northbound travel on James Rd (Post Office) at existing VINE bus stop. All day parking is available in the Canyon Plaza parking lot.
